Long-term rentals and leases in General Luna

General Luna is the island's town. The surf, cafés, restaurants and nightlife are all a few minutes away on a scooter, and it's where most first-time long-stayers end up. It suits people who like to walk to things and don't mind some noise. Families, and anyone after quiet, tend to look at Catangnan, Malinao or Santa Monica.

What it's like to live here

The town runs along one main road from the pier to Cloud 9, with the beach on one side and lanes running inland on the other. The closer you are to the road, the easier everything is and the louder it gets. Two or three streets back, it's quiet enough to sleep with the windows open, and you're still five minutes from a flat white.

Brownouts happen a few times a month and usually last under an hour, longer after storms. Most long-stayers want backup power, or a place with it already installed. We test it and say so on every listing. Fibre reaches the main road and nearby; beyond that, Starlink is normal.
